The CD-1 SS Race Ignition Kit delivers a fully assembled, plug-and-play capacitive discharge ignition system, crafted specifically for competitive racing. Designed for easy installation, this kit includes the CD-1 Super Speedway ignition module, coil, wire harness, and mounting plate—all engineered for peak performance.

High Performance and Customizable Features

This ignition system offers 135 millijoules of spark energy and allows racers to adjust the RPM limit from 6,000 to 9,900 RPM in 100 RPM increments. Its encapsulated, waterproof construction ensures durability, even in challenging conditions. Pre-terminated, plug-and-play weather pack connectors make wiring simple and reliable.

Built for Compatibility and Efficiency

The kit supports all 8-cylinder engines that use a magnetic pickup distributor or a four-magnet crank trigger. With a compact design, the ignition module and coil fit seamlessly into tight spaces. The system draws less than 5 amps at 8,000 RPM, making it highly efficient.
